New Sleep Center:Our new sleep center, located at the Health Park of Kildaire in Cary, has opened and is serving both adult and pediatric patients who have a potential sleep disorder.The new furniture, beautiful tiled walk-in showers and paint color refresh will enhance these new families’ postpartum care experience. In memory of Judy Lynn (Gervais) Wicker, please visit our floral store.Fall is here, and it’s Thanksgiving season – making it a great time to look back on all we’ve accomplished for our patients and the community here at WakeMed Cary Hospital this year. There will be a service of family and friends at a later date. Judy would want everyone to carry on and live each day to the fullest. She was often the glue that held everybody together and she had a passion for traveling and the ocean, where she had hoped to move after her retirement. Judy was full of love, life, and compassion. Judy is survived by her mom, Avis of Vermont brother, David Gervais of Vermont a special nephew who she loved like a son, Simeon “Sam” Gervais and his wife, Jenessa and their two boys, Parker and Hudson of Vermont several nieces and nephews her North Carolina family – a very special group of friends and beloved companion, her dog, GG. She was dedicated to both her job and community and her death will leave a very big void for all who knew and loved her. Judy was a telecommunicator supervisor with the City of Sanford for the last 24 years. In addition to her father, Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mark and brothers, Steven, and Michael Gervais. Albans, Vermont to Avis Garrett Gervais and the late Normand “Gus” Gervais. Judy Lynn Gervais Wicker, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.
